Brendan Moylan has been preselected by the NSW Nationals as their candidate for the Northern Tablelands by-election. This follows the resignation of Adam Marshall MP from the NSW Parliament.
Moylan, a solicitor with extensive community service experience, has lived in regional areas his entire life. He resides in Moree with his wife, Catherine, and their three children.
Brendan Moylan is a litigation director with over 20 years of experience as a solicitor. He specializes in environmental crime proceedings, merit appeals, acquisition and compensation, judicial review, and planning matters in the Land and Environment Court.
He has extensive experience in complex litigation in the principal courts of New South Wales and the Federal Court of Australia, representing a range of clients from large farming operations to family-run businesses. Moylan frequently advises local councils and appears in various tribunals, including the ICAC.
He also volunteers and provides pro bono services to local charities and sporting clubs.
