Who is Greg Adermann?

Councillor Greg Adermann represents the Pullenvale Ward, which encompasses a diverse area including the suburbs of Anstead, Bellbowrie, Brookfield, and several others. Elected in March 2020, Adermann has a strong background in corporate communications, having worked with several blue-chip companies over 28 years.

He is a long-standing resident of Chapel Hill, where he and his wife Cia have been actively involved in community activities and even operated a small business in Kenmore for five years. Adermann has also been significantly involved in local sports and community organizations, including Kenmore Rotary and the Kenmore Bears Junior AFL Club, of which he is a Life Member.

Before his political career, Adermann worked as a journalist and served in various high-profile communications and marketing roles, including Press Secretary/Senior Media Advisor for two State Ministers, State Media Manager for Telstra, State Marketing Manager for Foxtel, and Marketing Manager for IMG Motorsport. Prior to joining the Council, he was associated with ASM Global (formerly AEG Ogden) as Group Communications Manager and Director of Communications and Marketing at Suncorp Stadium.

In his role as councillor, Adermann serves on the Economic Development and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games Committee, and he is the Deputy Chair of the City Standards Committee.
