Ian Collier is the Reform UK parliamentary candidate for the newly established Brent West Constituency. A lifelong resident of Brent, Collier has deep roots in the area, having been educated in Willesden and Kilburn, and married in Kingsbury.
He is a qualified actuary with a degree in mathematics and economics from the University of Sussex, obtained in 1972. Collier has three children who were all educated in Brent and is a grandfather to eight grandchildren.
Collier has been actively involved in his local community, notably as a member of the Woodcock Park Bowling Club for 35 years, including two years serving as its president. He is an avid sports fan, supporting Chelsea FC and Middlesex CCC.
Additionally, Collier has business interests in child care and domiciliary care, indicating a diverse professional and personal engagement within his community.
After a lifetime of supporting conservative values, Collier joined Reform UK over eighteen months ago, disillusioned with the traditional Conservative Party's departure from these principles. He was drawn to Reform UK by its philosophy and its base of ordinary people who, in his view, understand life's realities better than the career politicians prevalent in other parties.
