Who is Jen Westmoreland?

Dr Jen Westmoreland, a lifelong advocate for education, equity, and community engagement, has made significant contributions as a member and chair of the Hopkins School Board since 2018. She spearheaded the Vision 2031 strategic planning process and played a key role in transforming the district’s budget to align with community values.

Jen holds a doctorate in educational leadership and has dedicated her career to innovation and equity-driven programming in education.

She serves on the Local Progress National School Board Steering Committee and the state organizing committee for Local Progress Minnesota, focusing on racial and economic justice.
