Jonathan Tilt is an independent candidate in the West Yorkshire Mayoral election scheduled for 2nd May 2024. Born in Dewsbury, Tilt has spent most of his life in West Yorkshire and has been residing in Clayton West since 2011.

His involvement in politics began in 2020 through the Freedom Alliance party, focusing on campaigning against what he perceives as state overreach, including opposition to lockdowns and mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations. In his community, he has served as a Trustee and Treasurer of the Millennium Green in Clayton West. His campaign for the mayoralty emphasizes protecting the interests of West Yorkshire and its people against corporate globalist influences.

Tilt values freedom of movement, speech, thought, association, and medical freedom. He positions himself as independent from the influence of large businesses, unions, and political party systems, pledging not to accept donations over £500 to ensure his accountability solely to his electorate.
