Mona Hecke, widely recognized as Aussie Health Girl, is a naturopath, nutritionist, whole foods educator, and the author of 'The Lunchbox Revolution.' With her roots deeply embedded in the Gold Coast through her education and life experiences, Mona's career began in public relations and marketing, contributing to the launch of major local establishments. Transitioning into health and nutrition following motherhood, she has dedicated 20 years to naturopathy, specializing in family health and preventative healthcare.

Additionally, Mona has contributed significantly to the community as a trainer in the pharmaceutical and health retail industry, a business owner, and through various leadership roles, including President of the Gold Coast Active and Healthy Lifestyle Alliance. A regular public speaker and an Australia Day Ambassador since 2015, Mona is committed to fostering the healthy growth of the Gold Coast community.

She is now seeking support in her bid to become mayor, driven by a desire to bring about positive change and enhance the well-being of the city's residents in the March 2020 council election.
