Tanya Taylor has been a resident of Willoughby for over 20 years. Her three children were born and raised in the area, attending Willoughby Community Pre-School, Willoughby Public School, and Willoughby Girls High School.
Her husband operates their small family business from Willoughby.
Taylor's extensive volunteer work earned her the title of Willoughby City Council’s Citizen of the Year in 2020. She has served as President of the Willoughby Public School P&C and the Willoughby Community Special Needs Preschool Committee.
Currently, she is the Assistant Group Leader at 1st Sailors Bay Sea Scouts, supporting youth development.
Taylor has six years of experience working in local government at the City of Sydney across events, procurement, grants, and sponsorship. She is also pursuing a Bachelor of Community Development to enhance her skills as a community advocate.
