Cr Ted Hungerford represents Division 7 on the Sunshine Coast Council, covering areas such as Buderim and Maroochydore. His office is in City Hall, Maroochydore, and he is available for meetings by appointment.

With a strong focus on strategy and planning, service delivery, and financial management, Hungerford serves as the Portfolio Councillor for Finance and Corporate Strategy and Governance. He has a comprehensive background, including 18 years as a Maroochy Shire employee, over 23 years in the Army Reserve, 5 years in the Airforce Reserve, and significant involvement in community organisations like Neighbourhood Watch and local progress associations.

His education includes attending Woombye State School and Nambour High School, and he holds several qualifications, including a Diploma of Local Government and recognition as a Justice of the Peace.
