Tracey L. Redd was born and raised in Connecticut.

She completed her undergraduate studies at Fairfield University, graduating in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. Following her graduation, she moved to Florida to attend the University of Miami School of Law.

During her time in law school, she interned with the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office, which sparked her interest in litigation. She graduated from law school in December 1996.

Early Legal Career:

Upon graduating from law school, Tracey L. Redd began her legal career at the Broward County Public Defender’s Office, where she handled juvenile, misdemeanor, and felony criminal defense cases.

In 2000, she relocated to Lee County, Florida, and joined the Lee County Public Defender’s Office, practicing in the felony division. Her work involved representing clients in a wide array of felony cases.

Private Practice:

Since 2002, Tracey L. Redd has been a solo practitioner at the Law Office of Tracey L.

Redd, P.A., where she continues to practice as a trial attorney. With over 27 years of litigation experience, she is known for her deep respect for and enjoyment of the American judicial system.
