Relocating to rural Southwest Pennsylvania before the 2016 election, Calvarese observed firsthand the impacts of economic policies on local communities. Managing Bibiana Boerio's Congressional Campaign in 2018, she aimed to address the crisis of opportunity in the region.

Climate Science and Conservation:

Working at Conservation International, Calvarese wrote speeches for significant events like the UN-backed Blue Oceans Conference and UN Climate Week, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation.
